Managing your time in FF14
Getting the most out of your play time.
Tips and Guides.
As your playing through the world of FF14, battling through dungeons, trying to conquer the new raids, or just trying to find that one piece of gear that will complete your new glamour set, you may find yourself not having enough time to get it all done. You may have other obligations that take priority or you have other responsibilities and not to say that is a bad thing but it can definitely feel like you don't have enough time to make the progress you want to make on FF14. So here are a few tips and suggestions that can help get the most out of your play time especially if you have a limited amount through out the week.
Daily's
Now one of the first things you want to look at once you login for the day are your daily duty roulette's and quest. Let's start with your daily duty roulette's, in the Duty Finder there are multiple duty roulette's that you can join. These range from leveling roulette to alliance raid roulette, to even level specific roulette's, each one offering a different form of content for the player to do.Each roulette will offer you rewards such as Exp, free Gil, and different tomestones that can be used to turn in for rewards based on your level. They are very versatile on how you can use them, need help capping your tomes for the week? Just try any of the roulette's at max level, need to level a new job up? Try the leveling roulette. All these roulette's reset every day and they don't take very long depending on que times, so you can always try to at least bang these out if you are short on time.
As for daily quest, their are quite a few different kinds. Their are daily beast tribe quest, which give you 3 daily quest that rank up your reputation with certain beast tribes through out the game. Their are custom delivery quest for your gathering and crafting jobs, which assign you to collect or make a certain item that u can turn in for rewards and reputation based on who you are turning it in for.
Their are a lot more daily quest in the game but they normally follow the same routine but with just different means of completing them. Either way what daily quest you do is based on what goals you have set for your self and what you want to accomplish.
Weekly's
For weekly content, this normally falls under the line of normal and savage raid content. Especially now that a new raid tier has come out with that patch 5.2, the new raid content is set on a weekly reset timer. So, that means the raids will reset meaning you can grab another piece of loot from it, if you haven't already, and that you have to go through each raid floor in order again even if you already cleared it or not last week. These rest every Tuesday at 1:00 am PST (So 4:am EST) so you have time before each reset. To manage this I suggest trying to tackle these around a certain time frame that work with you since these will take the most of your time if you plan on tackling this type of content. Especially for the savage versions of the raid, you should try set a time for yourself if you want to attempt this content, so whenever that is for you whether it be on your days off or if you have a few hours to kill and have nothing important to do.
Overall, I suggest setting goals and making a plan with yourself on what you personally as player want to accomplish and what you what kind of progress you want to make. Every player is different so you don't have to follow this guide word to word, see what goal is most important for you to accomplish.
